About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Specialist to join our HR team at Northern HR Solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, HR expertise, and the ability to support organizational goals and objectives.
As an HR Specialist at Northern HR Solutions, you will:
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
Conduct HR audits and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives to support employee engagement, retention, and development.
Assist in performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and training programs.
Coordinate employee benefits and payroll administration.
Maintain HR records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of professional software development experience.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
Experience with web development frameworks and technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js). Strong understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Compensation
Base Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year
Performance Bonus: Up to 10% of base salary annually
